The SNAFU Catchers Consortium will be featured at the 2019 Resilience Engineering Symposium in Kalmar, Sweden.
The afternoon track on critical digital infrastructure will feature speakers from IBM, New Relic, Salesforce, IEX, Slack and Release Engineering Approaches and describe the challenges facing modern organizations running continuous deployment systems at scale and speed.
In addition, we will share research from the Ohio State University Cognitive Systems Engineering Lab focused on critical digital services.

While I was on https://cryptocasinozone.net earlier, the part about scaling deployments at places like Slack and IEX stuck with me. We tend to obsess over big outages, but resilience usually comes down to catching the tiny anomalies before they turn into something systemic. That's a mindset I've been trying to bring to our own release process, and it's harder than it sounds.
